Who we are

John InkleyAs a long established archery club, Nene Bowmen offers archers of all abilities the opportunity to shoot in a friendly environment. Whether you are new to the sport of archery and wish to try it out for the first time, or you are an old hand, there is a full and varied programme of instruction and shooting throughout the year, both indoors and out.

Archery is a very inclusive sport, offering a personal and sporting challenge to young and old alike, as well as those with physical or other limitations. We do ask, however, that archers are at least 9 years old before coming on a beginners course, so they can appreciate the safety implications of shooting and have sufficient self-discipline to be safe. Other than that we will make every effort to accommodate you.

If you are new to archery and are looking for more information about how to take up the sport, please visit our beginners section.

Contact us

If you need to contact our club for information on joining us as an existing archer, as a beginner interested in one of our courses, or for any general information, please e-mail us.

E-mails will be re-directed to the relevant member of the club for action.

Of course, you could always drop in and see us on most Sundays, weather permitting, when we shoot at Nene Park Ferry Meadows in the area behind the Lakeside Leisure Centre and Cafe.
